My Story

Nature versus nurture. Being raised by an artist and a nuclear engineer I quickly learned that being both right-brained and left-brained was not the norm. For me, there is no divide between the two cranial hemispheres. For me, creativity happens when analytical and problem-solving meet possibility. Blank pages and technical challenges are equal in reverie and even more exciting if they cross into each other.


My years of experience have also taught me that creative thinking and ideas cannot thrive without collaboration. A spark can be ignited in solitude, but it takes a team to feed and maintain the fire.

Serving on the Board of Directors as both Marketing & Website Coordinator as well as Fundraising & Sponsorship Marketing Assistant keeps me busy with with digital and offline marketing, fundraising, branding, website registration, event planning and coordination and communications. You’ll also catch me on the softball field – coaching, scorekeeping or running tournaments.

Set and Prop Design


I’m entering my third year of assisting the Great Bridge Middle Drama Club. Volunteering allows me to help students plan, design and build props and set structures as well as teach techniques in painting and finishing. Helping young minds turn budget limitations into creative resourcefulness is where the real magic of theater happens.

Nature and Lifestyle


At a young age, I coveted piles of dog-eared National Geographic magazines. I’d revisit the marked pages and revel in the photos and the stories and photographers behind them. I’m still obsessed with photos of nature and far-away places. Although life is busy, I always take time to capture treasure behind the lens. Time spent with my camera keeps me grounded, humbled and happy.
